According to the "Global Ceramic Tile Market 2021 to 2025" study published by Research and Markets in June 2021, the global ceramic tile market is expected to continue to grow and reach approximately US$285 billion by 2025.

As the tile industry evolves, tile manufacturers are improving their production processes to meet emerging environmental standards. Additionally, these manufacturers meet the demand for large tile panels with improved color vibrancy. One of the key drivers of this evolution is the use of water-based inkjet inks. The inks are designed to meet new environmental sustainability goals, reduce emissions of air pollutants and volatile organic compounds, and produce vibrantly colored tile designs.

As a leading supplier of printhead technology to inkjet printing system suppliers to the ceramic tile industry, FUJIFILM Dimatix continues the pioneering development of its Starlight series of printheads to meet the growing demand for water-based ink chemistries while maintaining its acclaimed core technology capabilities, such as ink recycling. The Starfire range of printhead products have a proven track record of reliability and can meet the ever-changing demands of ceramic tile printing systems, making them the ideal solution for the ceramic tile industry.
